The natural way to combat anxiety

John Franz, the author, has taken on relieving anxiety not by over the counter prescription drugs but by many natural remedies, habits and he shows us some tips we can use. He says right off that we can't cure it but we can control this natural reaction to stress.There are actually a lot of solutions but it's up to us to find which work best for us. As the subtitle of the book suggests, there are 5 little known ways to naturally fight this pretty prevalent malady which is increasing due to our lifestyle. He includes everything from herbal tea to essential oils to body butters plus some natural habits we can stack like being grateful, concentrating on one thing at a time to getting enough sleep.

A very Good material to help Anxiety

This book deserves five stars (meaning, I love it.)
Well, this book,
- is practical
- shows some methods which I have tried already
- opens up a new world which might have been totally new to many till now
I wouldn't have gone for a book on anxiety claiming natural fighting agents unless I got a hint from the cover.
Some of the methods have proved widely to be very safe and yielding

Ogosh... fantastic recipes and tools and techniques to relieve anxiety and related excess stress, depression, and more...

Great quick yet powerful read that helped me better understand the connections between depression, stress and anxiety and a bunch of terrific, all natural, ways to deal with it. The symptoms of excess anxiety are horrible, decreased immune function and related sickness, more stress, mood swings, an interrupted sleep cycle, and even paranoia, and the natural methods are really useful lifestyle choices. I'm definitely going to try essential oil blends for anxiety and make some of the recipes (for sure the mint and lavender cold iced tea which sounded Divine). I knew hot baths with Epsom salts could be deeply healing, the Ultra Simple Diet by Mark Hyman, M.D. (which I bought here on Amazon) recommends that for each night on his cleanse/diet, but I didn't realize I could make homemade all-natural bath salts and body butter to relieve excess stress and anxiety. Going to keep this book on my Kindle phone app for the recipes, such as the bergamot, lavender, and wild orange bath salt one (love Earl Grey tea so wild to try bergamot in one of the body butter or bath salts recipes from this book). The book also has herbal foot bath recipes. But don't think the book is all about stuff that you have to buy/make to relieve anxiety, the book includes info on meditation and finding humor as ways to control stress and anxiety. I like that the book is short yet info-packed. I'll be re-reading this (and trying a bunch of the recipes and techniques). Happy anxiety relief~*
