Lucky Bastard doesn't even begin to describe it. I would give my left arm to be in his position !!
Beautifully written and so descriptive you can imagine yourself there. Anne is genuinely one very talented writer. I can't give either the author or the story a higher accolade.

An excellent introduction to Coach Rye

Damn this was good!
Since I know that there is more to come with - at the least Coach Rye - this is a great introduction both to the characters and the concept of a 'first time sub'.
The story has delicious pacing, I could taste anticipation and the step by step building towards more explicit, hotter scenes.
The background just deep enough to develop but not overshadow the 'now', and the character descriptions titilate in enough details without resorting to inches and cup sizes.
Annie's gradual introduction into submission was full of realism - including some mistakes and amusing assumptions. The story could even be used as a bit of an 'intro to BDSM', including the 'what not to do' as well as the 'what to do'.
Nevertheless Annie's excitement was contagious and her submissive attitude was compelling and erotic - just ask the Coach!
The relationship that stutter-steps from a high-school crush to this erotic random encounter feels genuine and only adds to the intensity felt by both the characters and myself, adding another layer that took this from 4 to 5 stars.
I'm off to grab the next book in the series!

Fantasy fulfillment in all the right ways!

At first I was nervous reading that the main character was basically cheating on her husband with a childhood crush, but Lois does an excellent job of explaining the agreement the main character has with her husband. Different time zone? Have fun, and then tell me the dirty story. HOT, right?!

That's the premise of the book but Annie doesn't expect to sit down on the plane next to the sexy gymnastics coach shed known when she was younger. The same one she had once tried to throw herself at, but he'd refused because she was only 18. Sexy, gallant, and... dominant?

The scenes with them on the airplane are panty melting hot and it only gets BETTER when they play at the hotel. The end is fantastic too because Annie's explorations only serve to strengthen her marriage and although Rye enjoys his time with her he knows she's going home to her husband, the lucky bastard.

About the Author
Edward S. Neukrug is the former Chair of the Department of Educational Leadership and Counseling and currently Professor of Counseling and Human Services at Old Dominion University, Dr. Edward S. Neukrug has taught counselor education and human services for over thirty years. In addition, he has worked as a substance abuse counselor, a counselor at a crisis center, an outpatient therapist at a mental health center, an associate school psychologist, a school counselor, and as a private practice psychologist and licensed professional counselor. Dr. Neukrug has written dozens of articles and chapters in books, has authored eight books, and was the editor of THE SAGE ENCYCLOPEDIA OF THEORY IN COUNSELING AND PSYCHOTHERAPY. Books he has written include: EXPERIENCING THE WORLD OF THE COUNSELOR: A WORKBOOK FOR COUNSELOR EDUCATORS AND STUDENTS (4th Edition); COUNSELING THEORY AND PRACTICE; SKILLS AND TECHNIQUES FOR HUMAN SERVICE PROFESSIONALS; and ESSENTIALS OF TESTING AND ASSESSMENT FOR COUNSELORS, SOCIAL WORKERS, AND PSYCHOLOGISTS (3rd Edition). I love this journal. It's very well thought out and simple to use - yet it offers a fantastic way of keeping a log of your health. I highly recommend it especially if you have any type of health issues and need to keep a record of how you're doing. It's a very good way of seeing patterns in your daily symptoms. I especially like the 10 day review sections! I keep it next to my bed so it's handy to write in each evening. The author also has a "Gluten Free" journal available that looks like it would be useful for much more than just gluten intolerance!

I like this journal. I have several health conditions and medications that I need to keep track of, The book is laid out in a very easy to use format. Four stars instead of five because there is no specific place to record weight, Blood Pressure, and blood sugar.

The Journal is fine...I did it consistenly for about a week and then lost interests, as the questions were the exact same everyday.
